Louisiana PTA
Membership
Membership is the foundation of PTA, and the Membership Chair plays a key role in building and strengthening that foundation. By welcoming new members and keeping current members engaged, the Membership Chair helps expand PTA’s voice and impact.Every member matters. PTA’s advocacy, programs, and support for children and families are only possible because people choose to join and get involved. Membership is open to anyone who supports National PTA’s mission and values, and PTA is committed to creating an inclusive organization where everyone feels welcome. In Louisiana, PTA operates at three connected levels: the Local PTA Unit, Louisiana PTA, and National PTA. Together, these levels work to support schools, empower families, and advocate for the well-being of every child.
